When your windows are hard to open and close, or the springs are falling out, it may be time to replace your window springs.

They can get stiff and break if not maintained (lubricated) twice a year. The plastic guides can break that control the springs if the window is forced. There are many types of window springs and guides. The most common are called block and tackle springs which have strings and pulleys, the second are called spiral balance springs which are a round tube with a worm drive.

Springs come in different lengths and tension strengths. We stock most standard type springs and guides on our service trucks to better service your particular type windows.

We also show you how to maintain your springs so you will not have future problems with your windows or even break the glass from falling down to the sill.

Call us for repairs so you can let the fresh air in your home!
